Taste of Michigan vs Integrity
June 3, 2012

After church, many guys and I went to try Zingerman’s bacon fest or something, and got a variety of samples, yum. Then headed off to the main st where the roads were blocked for this event called Taste of Michigan…or something, haha. It was  like a festival where a bunch of restaurants sell their food at lower costs, supposedly.

Jesse bought a full sheet worth of ticket, and got two sheets instead. My immediate reaction was, “sweet, free food” but he gave it back to the cashier. After killing a full sheet with Zach, I got some more with $10 in my pocket and the woman gave me more than 10 bucks back. I was confused for a bit and asked, “didn’t I give you a ten?” She kept claiming that I gave her a twenty, but I hesitated a bit and told her I definitely gave her 10 bucks. She said thanks for your honesty, and some thoughts went through my head. For that split of a second, I was thinking of walking away with that extra cash, and the fact that I was debating that in my head, makes not dishonest. The question of whether I’d be honest or eat more food, sadsauce.
