Paul’s New Identity
- Calling (v1-4) – servant of Jesus, apostle, set apart for the gospel
- Purpose (v5-6) – obedience of faith, for the sake of his name, among all the nations
Paul’s New Life
- Thankfulness (v8)
- Prayer (v9-10)
- Mutual encouragement (v11-12)
- Reaching the Gentiles (v13-15)
Although one may not want to do something and could be a responsibility, but it can be done with eager too.
Life Application
- Embrace your identity as a servant of Christ
- Ask God to give you His heart
- Participate in God’s mission by faith
