I got a zipcar few days ago to help a friend move out at midnight and decided to take advantage of it since no one had it booked. So I drove it around with another friend til 3 am and next thing I realize was a huge late fee on my card. It was so disappointing to see the amount that could’ve been used for something else, and I sent them an email regarding the situation. Fortunately, they let me slide out of courtesy and said I’d get the money back, whew.

I rushed down to church this morning and realized I only had a big bill that I couldn’t split. While deciding whether to borrow a lower amount from a friend, or to skip giving, I decided to just give it for tithe since the amount would’ve been spent for the fee anyway. Although I’d love to use these amounts to go on a nice meal or things I can get, I’m glad it went to the church instead of zipcar. I’m always learning lessons through the hard way…
