Romans 4:13-25

It’s not about us, but about Jesus

Salvation is a gift of God and not something that we earn

I. We must trust in God’s promises

• The law condemns us (v.15)
• Not based on obedience to God’s law, but on a right relationship with God that comes by faith

II. We must triumph in God’s promises

• We tend to look at the circumstance and lose hope and faith.
• Perhaps we could be facing the very own situations right now in order to see that we cannot do it ourselves, but in trusting and having faith in God.

1. Memorize God’s promises
2. Make much of Jesus
